Alexa Valles is currently a student at UTSA majoring in Music with an emphasis on Composition. When moving to the United States from Mexico at the age of 10, Alexa began her musical career with the cello as her first instrument. She then went on to learn violin and piano.
Alexa is a dedicated performer and has had the opportunity to perform with various groups such as the UTSA orchestra, the UTSA Mariachi, The public theater of San Antonio, and overseas at the Upbeat/Uzmah International Summer Music School.
As a teacher, her goal is to adhere to each student's individual goals and create a safe space for them to learn to express themselves through music.
